![]() ![]() ![]() Wars can be started between factions, too, by doing a quest for a particularly agressive Lord. Through either a Guild Master in one of the warring factions towns or through contact with a Lord (IIRC), the player can help establish peace by doing a quest that relies either on a large amount of cash (10,000 florins, IIRC) or excellent persuasion skill and good relations with the warring faction's Kings/Lords/general relations. The game allows the player to guide events like wars. Not sure, there.) The way to tell if a King wearies of war is to ask one of his Lords "about the war with xxx." They will tell you how the King feels about it and why he continues to fight or looks towards peace. ![]() (But, it's almost always going to last at least a couple of weeks, if not longer. After a time, they will "weary" of a war. Once war is declared, a faction is going to fight for awhile, no matter how bad their losses. Those are things that make factions go to war and to continue a war. This is especially true if they have lost significant holdings, like a Town or Castle. ![]() They "can", but that doesn't mean that they will.
